2024 Summer Camps (Will be adding more soon)

 

 Beginner Volleyball Skills Camp.         

                         July 8th-11th                        

                4-day camp (Monday-Thursday) Becker Middle School(FIELD HOUSE)  Coached by Corey Martell

  • This camp  is designed for girls entering 4th-8th grade the 2024-25 school season that have had minimal or no volleyball experience. 

  • Training will cover each fundamental skill of volleyball – serving, passing, setting, and hitting. Players will be given coaching and training that will provide a strong foundation in the sport of volleyball so that they will be able to go into their next season feeling more confident in their form and mechanics. The goal is to provide a fun learning experience that will foster a passion and love for the sport of volleyball for years to come. 

What to bring:

Players can wear comfortable clothing such as, athletic shorts or spandex and a t-shirt, tennis shoes, volleyball knee pads and a waterbottle.

Limit:

MAX of 25 players per session

Dates:

7/8, 7/9, 7/10, 7/11

Time:

7pm-8:30pm

Cost: 

$55 per player + camp t-shirt

Registration will be thru Becker Community Ed


 

          Intermediate Volleyball Skills Camp.    

                           July 15th-18th        

                4-day camp (Monday-Thursday) Becker Middle School(FIELD HOUSE) Coached by Ashley Vealatzek

  • This camp is designed for girls entering 6th-8th grade the 2024-25 school season. Focusing on ball control. Players will need to have had  1+ years of JO club volleyball experience to register for this camp.

  • Training will cover each fundamental skill of volleyball – serving, passing, setting, and hitting. Players will be given coaching and training that will build on foundational skills and improve form and mechanics. The goal is to provide a fun learning experience that will challenge each player to fine tune their skills on the court. After completion of the camp, players will be prepared to advance to the next level and look more at the strategic and tactical aspects of volleyball.

Limit:

MAX of 24 players per session

Dates:

7/15, 7/16, 7/17, 7/18

Time:

7pm-8:30pm

Cost: 

$60 per player + camp t-shirt

Registration will be thru Community Ed

 

              Advanced Volleyball Skills Camp.   

                          July 22nd-25th              

4-day camp (Monday-Thursday) Becker High School Coached by Jess Vealatzek

  • This camp is for girls entering 7th-12th grade the 2024-25 school season.  Advanced players ONLY focusing on advanced skills.

  • Players will need to have played 3+ years JO club  or school volleyball experience and have good ball control skills.

  • Training will cover each fundamental skill of volleyball – serving, passing, setting, and hitting – along with focusing more on the different strategic and tactical sides of the sport. Players will be given coaching and training on offensive play options and defensive strategies. There will be a focus on court vision and reading the opponent and different game-like situations. Players will also work on advanced moves such as quicks, jump serves, roll out dives, pancakes, etc. The goal is to provide a fun, but challenging learning experience that will greatly help athletes at, or preparing for, the B-Squad, JV, and Varsity levels.

Limit:

MAX of 24  players for 7th-9th & MAX of 24  players for 10-12th

Dates:

7/22, 7/23, 7/24, 7/25

Time:

6:30pm-8pm (7th-9th)

8pm-9:30pm (10th-12th)

Cost: 

$65 per player + camp t-shirt

Registration will be thru Community Ed

 

                            Volley Tots Camp.              

                             August 19-22

                   4 day camp (Monday - Thursday) Becker Primary School Coached by Kyanna Marx

  • This camp is for  girls entering pre-k - 3rd grade the 2024-25 school season.. This camp is designed to expose our youth to the great sport of volleyball. The format will be like a volleyball playground, we will be using fun activities and stations to teach youth the basics to volleyball.

  • Kids will learn important skills such as hand-eye coordination, motor skills, and the basic skills of volleyball (passing, setting, hitting, & serving).

 

What to bring:

Players can wear comfortable clothing such as, athletic shorts, spandex, t-shirt, tennis shoes, volleyball knee pads and a waterbottle.

 

Limit:

No limit at this time.

Dates:

8/19, 8/20, 8/21, 8/22

Times:

5-6pm

Cost: 

$50 per player + camp t-shirt

Registration will be thru Community Ed
